Starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu about two and a half years ago, Camila Monterrosa stepped onto the mats and quickly turned her first experience into a deep passion for the sport.

A proud Canadian of Hispanic descent, she carries the values of hard work, resilience, and family in everything she does. What began as something new quickly became a life-changing journey. Training has helped her build confidence, strengthen her discipline, and push past limits she didn’t think she could overcome.

Over time, jiu-jitsu has become much more than just training. She embraces the challenge, the constant learning, and the way the sport tests both her mind and her physical strength. More importantly, it has given her a strong sense of community, one that feels like family and continues to keep her coming back to the mats every day.
